Uramet Antibacterial Uti Relief 100 Tablets
Description:
Uramet is a non-antibiotic therapy that may help to prevent recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs)
It is an antibacterial tablet that contains the active ingredient methenamine hippurate. Uramet works by suppressing bacteria in the urine that can cause UTIs. It can be used after successful initial antibiotic treatment for a UTI to help stay infection free.
Uramet is intended to help reduce the frequency of recurrent UTIs, that may be used for short or long-term therapy.
UTIs are common, particularly with increasing age. They are often painful, and an uncomfortable, condition that can happen to anyone at some point in their life.
Women are more likely to get a UTI than men.
But for some, UTIs can be a recurring frustration they have to deal with. A UTI is considered recurrent if you have 2 or more UTIs diagnosed by your doctor in the past 6 months or 3 or more within a 12-month period.
