Proctosedyl Haemorrhoids Relief Suppositories 12 Pack
Description:
Proctosedyl suppositories are used for the relief of the discomfort of haemorrhoids (piles) and other painful conditions of the anus (rear end), such as fissures (tears). Haemorrhoids often result when people strain while trying to open their bowel (defecate). This problem is often, but not always, associated with low-fibre diets.
Proctosedyl Suppositories contain the active ingredients hydrocortisone, a steroid, and cinchocaine hydrochloride, a local anaesthetic. This double action suppository may provide relief of haemorrhoids and other associated anorectal conditions:
1. Pain relief using local anaesthetic
2. Reduces inflammation and swelling
3. Relieves itching
Ingredients:
Each gram contains: hydrocortisone 5mg, cinchocaine hydrochloride 5mg.
Usage Directions:
Remove the suppository from its packaging. Moisten the suppository by dipping it briefly in cool water. Put one foot on the side of the bath or toilet, raising the knee to the chest. Insert the suppository gently into the rectum (back passage). Try not to go to the toilet for at least one hour to allow the suppository time to work.
For anal and rectal use only. - For best results, apply after a bowel motion - Insert one suppository into the rectum up to 3 times daily
Storage:
Store at 2ºC to 8ºC (Refrigerate. Do not freeze.)
