Description:
OpSite Flexifix is a roll of transparent adhesive film, ideal for use in dressing fixation, tube fixation, dressing reinforcement and the treatment of painful peripheral neuropathy. It is easy use and allows secure fixation of all kinds of dressings. OpSite's strong, flexible film also offers protection against skin breakdown due to friction and moisture.
Benefits:
- The film is waterproof and a barrier to bacteria. Its high moisture vapour permeability allows the skin to breathe. The acrylic adhesive minimises the risk of skin damage on removal, especially after long periods of wear.
- OpSiteFlexifix has been designed to allow easy application of the film to awkward areas of the body and over dressings and tubes. The film is highly conformable and extensible to increase patient comfort.
- The unique roll format enables rapid and economical use of the OpSite film to create comfortable, waterproof fixation for dressings.
Usage Directions:
How to use OPSITE FLEXIFIX:
Wash your hands before and after dealing with a wound. Gently clean the wound and surrounding skin, and dry thoroughly.
Cut the required length from the roll. Fold along the length of the film to crack the protective backing paper.
Remove the backing paper marked number 1 - ‘remove first’. Apply the sticky side to desired area and gently smooth down.
Remove the green-coloured grid covering and gently smooth down again.
How to remove OPSITE FLEXIFIX:
To remove, pull the film to gently stretch it parallel to the skin and lift off.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place.
