Movicol Adult Flavour Free 13G X 30 Sachets

Description:

Flavour free Movicol for adults, provides effective temporary relief from constipation. It is used to treat chronic constipation & for the resolution of faecal impaction (doctor diagnosed).

Movicol is gentle and works with your body’s own methods to restore healthy bowel movements. It is easy to use, available in several different flavours, can be used by by adults and children over the age of 2.

Ingredients:

Each sachet contains

Macrogol 3350 -  13.125 g
Sodium chloride -  350.7 mg
Sodium bicarbonate - 178. 6 mg
Potassium chloride - 50.2 mg

On reconstitution in 125ml, each sachet provides:
Sodium - 65 mmol/L
Chloride  - 53 mmol/L
Bicarbonate - 17 mmol/L
Potassium - 5.4 mmol/L

Usage Directions:

Constipation: 1 sachet daily, increasing to 2 or 3 sachets daily if necessary.

Faecal impaction as diagnosed by a doctor: 8 sachets a day for no more than 3 days

Dissolve the contents of one sachet in 125 mL of water then drink it. Do not exceed the stated dose.

Not recommended for children less than 12 years (use Movicol Junior for kids under 12)

Storage:

Store below 30°C

Warnings:

Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Drink plenty of water. Increase fibre in diet except in cases of medication-induced constipation. Prolonged use of laxatives is undesirable and may lead to dependence. If symptoms persist seek medical advice.

Do not take MOVICOL if you have an obstruction in your intestine, perforated gut wall, severe inflammatory bowel disease, paralysis of the bowel or an allergy to any of the ingredients. If you are pregnant or breast feeding, talk to your doctor before you take MOVICOL.

How We Handle Them:

Change of Mind

  • If you've had a change of mind about an item you have ordered, we'll need to receive it back to us unopened and unused, in the original packaging.

Faulty Item

  • If the item you have received is faulty, please contact us with a detailed description of the product fault, alongside a photo if possible.

Allergic Reaction

  • In the rare instance you've had an allergic reaction to a product, please discontinue use of the product immediately. We may reach out for further information on the reaction.

Allergy returns must be less than 20% used upon arrival back to us.

Incorrect / Damaged Items

  • If you have received an item that isn't what you ordered, or it arrived damaged, please take a photo and contact us within 7 days of delivery. 

Please don't dispose of the item without informing us.
