Body Plus Animine Anti-Itch Lotion 125ml
Description:
Animine Anti-Itch Lotion by Body Plus, helps reduce soreness from skin irritations and itching due to insect stings & bites. It has a local anaesthetic & antiseptic and also help relieve allergic outbreaks such as hives, urticaria and contact dermatitis.
The antiseptic in this lotion is Benzalkonium Chloride, it has variable anti-fungal activity and is effective against some viruses. The anaesthetic present in this lotion is Lignocaine hydrochloride is a local anaesthetic that has a fast onset and an intermediate duration of action.
Finally, it also contains Calamine, which is a basic zinc carbonate coloured with ferric Oxide. It is a pink or reddish-brown colour. It has mild astringent and anti-pruritic (Anti-itch) action.
Ingredients:
Each 1ml contains: Benzalkonium Chloride 2.5mg (0.25%) Lignocaine Hydrochloride 30mg (3.0% W/V), Calamine 200mg.
Usage Directions:
Apply with gentle rubbing over affected area 3 or 4 times a day and at bedtime.
Animine lotion should not be used on open cuts or wounds or by persons sensitive to Lignocaine.
If skin irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately and seek medical advice.
Storage:
Store below 30°C.
Warnings:
Always read the label and follow the directions for use. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, if it goes into the eys, rinse thoroughly. Do not use if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients. Keep out of reach of children. If symptoms persist, see your healthcare professional.
