Diareze Diarrhoea Relief 20 Tablets

Description:

Diareze 2mg tablets has the active ingredients Loperamide. This medication provides effective temporary relief from diarrhoea.

Loperamide is an antimotility agent (something that slows down the movement of your gut), which works by decreasing the activity of the muscles in the intestinal wall. Due to this there is an increase in the amount of time substances stay your intestine, allowing for more water to be absorbed out of faecal matter. Thereby, making stools less watery.

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

loperamide hydrochloride 2 mg, loperamide hydrochloride 2 mg.

Usage Directions:

Adults and children over 12 years- take 2 tablets when diarrhoea commences and 1 tablet after each loose motion, to a maximum of 8 tablets per day. Do not take beyond 48 hours.

Storage:

Store below 25°C.

Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Keep out of reach of children. If symptoms persist, please contact your healthcare professional.

Do not use - If you are under 12 years of age, If you have a medical condition where constipation should be avoided, If you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients. Ask your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you have fever, stomach pain, blood in your stools, if you have an ongoing medical condition affecting the bowels.

If diarrhoea persists beyond 48 hours seek medical advice as soon as possible. In the event of an overdose seek medical attention immediately. Drink plenty of fluids as fluid depletion may occur, if dehydration is suspected seek medical attention.
